Q1: Considering that the timeframe of this tender falls during the holiday period and many manufacturers are slowing down operations or going on Christmas shutdown, would it be possible to request an extension of the deadline for another two weeks (until 4 Jan 2026)? 

A1: Thank you for your question. 
We would like to clarify that the two-month period starts from the date of contract signature, which takes place after the call period is closed and all evaluation stages are completed in accordance with the Terms of Reference. 

In case your question refers to a possible extension of the deadline for submitting offers, please be informed that at this stage we cannot extend it. Should an insufficient number of offers be received, a decision on extending the call period will be taken accordingly. 

We kindly encourage you to comply with the deadline indicated in this call.

Q2: Regarding the Bllistic shield you inquired about, we are sure that we can producem, but could we know the exact size? Quotation can be provided based on your detailed inquiry. 

A2: The exact dimensions are explicitly defined in the Terms of Reference, and bidders are required to prepare their technical and financial offers strictly in accordance with these provisions. 

For the Small Tactical Ballistic Shield, the required dimensions are specified under Section II. A – Product Specifications, point 3(ii) of the ToR, as follows: 

– Height: 800–840 mm 

– Width: 480–500 mm  

For the Medium Ballistic Shield with Viewport & Tactical Lighting, the required dimensions are specified under Section II.B – Product Specifications, point B(ii)–(iii) of the ToR, as follows: 

– Height: 1050 mm (±55 mm) 

– Width: 525 mm (±30 mm)  

Offers must demonstrate full compliance with the above-mentioned dimensional ranges, as defined in the cited ToR sections. 

The Terms of Reference provide precise and exhaustive technical specifications enabling bidders to submit compliant offers. The responsibility for ensuring conformity with the stated dimensions and requirements rests entirely with the bidder.
